Foodie Friday: Spinach & Boursin Rolls
I recently decided to start cooking some more and try fun recipes. This one is easy and not very time consuming. I'm not gonna mention healthy because I don't believe it is, but at least it's got some spinach.
What you will need for 4 rolls:
- 4 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 box of Boursin
- 1 onion
- Spinach (I used the microwave kind)
How to make it:
1 Use either a stone dish or a regular plate for the oven with baking paper.
2 Cut the onion into fine pieces.
3 Take a sheet of pastry and shape it to your likeness. It's usually kind of thick so I suggest to stretch it for a bit.
4 Make sure your spinach is thawed using either the microwave or a pot, depending on what kind you bought.
5 Use a knife to spread some Boursin onto your sheet.
6 Take some pieces of onion and spread them out.
7 At last, take your spinach and spread it out on the sheet with a knife. Make sure not to get too close to the edges as it will fall off.
8 Roll up your pastry and preheat the oven on 150 degrees Celcuis.
9 I like to put some extra Boursin on the outsides where the pastry ends to make sure they won't fold open.
10 Ready to bake. Put the dish in the oven for 20 minutes. Cool and enjoy!
